Station Avenue to Produce Black Tie gala . Station Avenue Productions is honored to be chosen for the fifth year as the Producer for the Virtua Health Foundation's Black Tie gala, March 3, 2007 to be held at the Borgata in Atlantic City and to have " Chicago" as our entertainment .


5th annual convention event . The National Rural Letter Carriers has chosen CJ DiRoma and Station Avenue Productions for the 5th year to produce their Annual Convention Event with special guest Tracy Byrd.


Bam Margera's Wedding . CJ DiRoma and Station Avenue Productions get the challenging security gig for Bam Margera's upcoming wedding" Scheduled to appear Iggy Pop, Tony Hawk, Kat Von Dee featured on " Miami Ink" and all the Margera clan. Surgicorp " Just for Smiles" event. Held October 21, 2006 at Turbine Hall, Phila PA. An organization of physicians that provides medical services, mainly plastic surgery for poor citizens around the world. This year's theme was " Around the World" Turbine Hall was dressed as a foreign bazaar with Attendees bidding on beautiful jewelry from Jack Kellmer and amazing pieces of art, sculpture, and various artifacts collected by the doctors around the world. Entertainment was provided by Joe Piscopo,who represented Mr.. New York, Holly Faris as " Joan Rivers", who did a fabulous job greeting our guests and critiquing their clothes on the "Red Carpet" ; Minas the brilliant Brazilian group who provided the evening's dinner music as well as the spirited "Junkanoo" style parade through the venue to get everyone in their seats. We can't wait to see what's in store for next year!!


National Rural Letter Carriers Association has chosen Station Avenue Productions to produce the 4th Annual Convention in Charleston, S. Carolina, August 2006. Featured artist: Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers.

CJ Di Roma, President of Station Avenue Productions has been once again picked to produce the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation Fundraiser, Oct. 20, 2006 hosted by Miles Technologies. Keep looking for updates on our star studded event. So far slated to perform, are Joe Piscopo and Jeff Timmons.

A new and exciting event for Station Avenue Productions: The First Annual Hayden Films Festival held at the prestigious Directors Guild of America in New York City on January 12, 2006. Hayden Films is the first online film festival which drew in its inaugural year over 105 submissions from around the world. The films are voted on the a panel of judges to reduce the number to 36 and then you, the public, vote for the winner. This years winner of the $10,000.00 grand prize and tons of sponsor gifts was Quinn Saunders director of "Fortunate Son".

The New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce picked Station Avenue Productions to provide the talent for their 69th annual "Walk to Washington" train trip. The Chamber dinner hosts congressional members, former and current governors and business people looking to have their concerns heard. Ken Block provided the comedic entertainment.

We are all mourning the loss of Lou Rawls a great friend and mentor to all of us here at Station Avenue including his good friend Ron Di Roma.

New and exciting news for the Outdoor division: The E Penn Biker Magazine concert series chose Station Avenue Productions to provide this year's talent Marshall Tucker Band and The Grass Roots. Check back for photos in August.

Our President, CJ DiRoma, is excited to announce the expansion of our Outdoor Events division.  These include, County & Municipality events, Festivals & Fairs, Bike Weeks, and great events in Stadiums and Amphitheaters.  We will continue our great level of service for all our clients with the addition to our staff of Walt Kuch.  Walt will be directly handling the marketing of these fun events, he has many years experience in sales and marketing and is himself a biker, so the bike week events should be a blast! Neil Sedaka was presented with the Songwriters Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, and the ceremony will air this Sunday July 18 on the Bravo Channel at 9 p.m.  (check local listings.)  Neil was the recipient of the prestigious Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Academy of Popular Music / Songwriters Hall of Fame's 35th Annual Induction Ceremony and Awards Presentation, held in June in New York, and the award honors an industry veteran who is acknowledged as a pioneer in his/her craft, whose body of work over time has been substantial, enduring and influential, and whose success and contributions over a lifetime have inspired the music community.  Regis Philbin presented the award to Neil, and both Neil and Eric McCormack of NBC's Will & Grace performed Sedaka songs.  Legendary music producer Phil Ramone produced the awards show, and inductees and performers included Garth Brooks,  Cedric the Entertainer,  Bill Cosby,  Roberta Flack,  Macy Gray,  Daryl Hall & John Oates,  India.Arie, Johnny Lang,  Michael McDonald, Brian McKnight,  Don McLean,  Moby,  Matchbox Twenty's Rob Thomas,  Dionne Warwick, and Stevie Wonder. 

We mourn the passing of a Show Business legend Ray Charles who died today June 10, 2004 in Beverly Hills, CA, ....Thanks for everything Ray, The World was a better place with you in it...

The Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) will present the 18th Annual Washington Area Music Awards (The Wammies) on Sunday, February 15th at the State Theater in Falls Church, Virginia.

Peaches & Herb and Family Til Death have licensed the 2004 Rap version of "Shake Your Groove Thing" for a new movie due out in 2004. The Movie Rated G, produced by Scott Rosenfeldt of the "Home Alone" series  is called " A Dog and His Boy"..[G]..It is a comedy.

Peaches & Herb and Family Til Death have just finished recording a major release. The Record  was produced by multi Grammy award winner Joe " The Butcher" Nicolo. There will also be a Video.....more details as they become available.......

The Incomparable Mr. Johnny Mathis  will perform for Virtua Foundations' Annual Black Tie Gala to be held at The Borgata Casino Spa & Resort, Atlantic City, New Jersey. Bob Hope passed away on July 27, 2003 at his home in California. I remember Bob Hope coming to Vietnam [where I served in I Corps South Vietnam with the US Navy/1st Marine Division, III MAF]. Bob Hope is the only good memory that I have of Vietnam....thank you Bob, for the memories....rest in peace....Ron Di Roma

This new office will concentrate on Corporate Events and Private Parties in the State of Florida as well as the many governmental and countywide events held there year around. Station Avenue Productions and Starlight Management Inc mourns the death of one of the greats of Show Business Mr. Edwin Starr who passed away at his home in London England. We send our deepest condolences to the family of Edwin and his long time manager Lilian Kyle. The world will be a colder, and less happy  place without you my friend.... We will never forget our time in Pittsburgh with you

Station Avenue Productions was the Producer for the Virtua Health System Black Tie Gala Fundraiser at the Wyndam Franklin Plaza in Philadelphia on March 1, 2003, starring: America & Chuck Negron, formerly of Three Dog Night. After the show the guest  partied and danced with Philly's Best party/dance band: Don't Call Me Francis. Peaches & Herb have signed  to do the "American Soundtrack" Series tribute to Rhythm and Blues music in America. Rhythm, Love and Soul, which will tape for PBS on November 26, 2002 in Pittsburgh and be aired nationally on PBS in March of 2003. The cast includes: Aretha Franklin,  Lou Rawls,  Billy Paul,  Spinners, Gloria Gaynor, The Manhattans, & Dennis Edwards Temptations Review.

The Washington Redskins were super for the appearance of Peaches & Herb for the halftime show during ABC Monday Night Football game between The Redskins and The Eagles on September 16. There were Army Special Forces parachutist and 500 dancers on the field during the Peaches & Herb performance.....it was great fun!  You can view a clip of the performance by Clicking on the hyperlinks to see the clip and pictures !!
